n 1908, Cairo University (CU) began its journey as a private institution. And later on, it gained the title of university in 1954. Nonetheless, it started a medicine program in 1827. The Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University is affiliated with the Qasr El Eyni Hospital. It is the research and teaching hospital of Cairo city.
