Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University

The establishment of Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) took place on July 10, 1931, in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The government classifies the Kazakh National Medical University as a "national university". The university is considered the No.1 Medical College in Kazakhstan. In 2001, the Kazakh National Medical University was named after SD Asfendiyarov and was awarded with the higher national status of the university.
